I’ve decided on a date to launch the Kickstarter campaign for Book 2 of the Slip Saga.
It’s later than expected, but I’ve got my reasons (shared below).

I’ve suggested in previous updates that a December campaign was possible. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone says NOT to run campaigns in December (or late November, either), because people’s attention is elsewhere. And since I’m a money-grubbing capitalist whose only joy is rubbing cold, hard cash into my nether regions, I’m left with only 2 options.
(I jest, of course. I also enjoy ice cream.)
I can either hustle to run a campaign in early November, or push it to January. But I prefer to keep things chill and manageable, so I’ve settled on January.
It has the added benefit of giving me some extra time to whittle the outline for Book 3 so that I don’t miss any juicy foreshadowing in Book 2. (I love foreshadowing almost as much as backshadowing).
Hopefully, the certainty of a launch date offsets the tremendous disappointment you’re now feeling at the delay.
